The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Health Community of Practice is pleased to host the next community teleconference on Tuesday, November 16th from 8:30AM-10AM EST (GMT-5). This telecon will be focused on opportunities for student engagement. First, Kathy Fontaine (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Thilanka Munasinghe (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), and Assaf Anyamba (NASA Goddard/USRA) will describe the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute-NASA Student Engagement collaboration. Then, Ethan Joseph (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) will present the findings of his class project. This telecon will offer recommendations to enhance student engagement on projects that integrate Earth observations in public health applications.
